Hey there! I’m Kim, the Tyke Hike lady.

I’ve lived in Eden with my husband and two kids (ages 6 and a half and 9) for seven years. We love to be outside together and are always on the look-out for a new, close-to-home trail to hike as a family. I started the Tyke Hikes group in 2017 for kids and (usually mostly) moms to meet up weekly during the summer months and enjoy nature and each other. So many people have asked me to share my hiking recommendations. So I am.

Why subscribe?

I have a guess that we’re all itching to get out and enjoy what summer has to offer in the gorgeous Ogden Valley. I don’t plan on hosting any big group meet-ups this summer, but I want to make sure you have access to all the info you need to hit the trails with your kids in the nice-weather months ahead.

Subscribe below to get my weekly Tyke Hike newsletter plus access to the website archives featuring all the best tyke-approved hikes in the valley. You’ll get info on trailhead parking, detailed directions for the trail, fun features to check out, and tips and tricks to make your Tyke Hike a success. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen, snacks and plenty of water! Let’s hike!
